History

AMSA-Universitas Diponegoro (AMSA-Undip) is one of the organizations located at the Faculty of Medicine, Diponegoro University (FK Undip), Semarang, Central Java. AMSA-Undip was founded by Dr. Nunung Nur Rahmah, M.D., Ph.D in 1999 as an observer. Then, AMSA-Undip officially established as a member of AMSA-Indonesia on March 20th, 2003. AMSA-Undip is part of District 4 of AMSA-Indonesia, together with AMSA-UGM, AMSA-UNS, and AMSA-UPR.

Introduction

AMSA-Undip is an organization as an external bureau of the Himpunan Mahasiswa Kedokteran Umum Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Diponegoro (HIMA-KU FK Undip) which is scientific, non-political, non-sectoral, non-profit, open, and free. AMSA-Undip strives to provide meaningful experiences and valuable opportunities for its members to grow and become the best versions of themselves through each work program, which aims to create measurable impacts both on society and on the members themselves.

The distinctive feature of AMSA-Undip is that there are two membership statuses, namely staff and members. Staff are members who are dedicated to a particular division, while members are members who have no attachment to a division and are divided into several Mini Divisions (Mindi) led by Mindi Peri from the Membership and Development division.

AMSA-Undip has three Advisory Boards, one of which is a Representative of the previous tenure and two of which are elected by voting. Representatives are determined by deliberation at the Musyawarah Besar. Currently, the composition of the AMSA-Undip Executive Board is as follows: Representative, Vice Representative External, Vice Representative Internal, General Secretary, Treasurer followed by Secretary of Membership and Development, Secretary of Research and Academic, Secretary of Publication and Promotion, Secretary of Community Outreach, Secretary of Finance and Partnership, Secretary of Externa, and Secretary of Talent and Culture.
